Forest Hotel starting at 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday 20th November 2012.
Blackmoor Gate Ram Sale 17th Sept.
There was a
real "buzz" at the pre-sale show, with a good crowd of folk looking at
the rams on offer. (Show results are on the results link)
The Champion Ram shown
by Mr. L. Richards set the Auction alight. After a fierce
three-way bidding battle the hammer fell to Mr. G. Dart & Son setting
a new breed record of £1080.00. Congratulations to both vendor
and purchaser.
Other notable prices:
£840 for G. Dart & Son to R. Kingdon;
£700 for C. Ley to P.Elston;
£600 for C. Ley to Wright & Wright;
£600 for M. Scott to R. & P. Burge;
£560 for R. & P. Burge to G.E. & E.J.
Nicholl.
Almost a total clearance
of rams left an overall average price in excesssof £400. Well
done to everyone!
